Hi I’m Cheri

I’m a Trauma-Informed Family Crisis Coach

Let’s take a breath.

If you’ve come here, it’s likely you’re feeling desperate, exhausted, scared, maybe even panicked.

You’ll try anything, because you’ve tried everything.

You’ve exhausted every suggested resource, but still need something more.

Something outside the next “program.” Something that actually finally works for you.

You need to your family’s true north.

You’ve found it. I’m glad you’re here.

Are you ready to feel relief?  To have hope again?

Welcome to the The Family Compass Method

When you’re lost you need someone to take you by the hand, and guide you out.

Someone who’s tread this path before. Someone who holds the compass.

The Family Compass Method

A curated, custom pathway to restoration. First, you’ll tell me your story.

Then, the hand-off.

I get to work building the roadmap.

This is a custom-curated process wholly built on your specific needs.

The catalyst for change may involve an assembly of doctors, therapists, wellness experts, trauma-informed modalities, creative outlets of expression, excursions, music or animal therapy.

No resource is off the table.

This concierge-level service provides more than 24/7 crisis support.

In times of greatest need on-site services are available, whether I come to you or we create a temporary haven off-site.

FAQ

Is this therapy?

No. While this work can be deeply supportive, it’s not traditional therapy.
This is focused, real-time support designed to help you understand what’s happening and move through it—especially in situations where clarity and timing matter.

What if my situation feels urgent?

That’s often when people reach out.
If something feels time-sensitive or emotionally intense, we’ll prioritize understanding what’s happening and determining the best next step as quickly as possible.

What actually happens when we work together?

Every situation is different.
Sometimes we’re having focused conversations to bring clarity.
Sometimes I’m stepping into real-time dynamics—guiding communication, helping you make decisions, or stabilizing what’s unfolding.
The goal is always the same:
help you understand what’s happening and move forward with a clear plan.

Do you only work with families?

Every situation is different.

The goal is always the same:

What if I don’t know exactly what I need yet?

That’s completely normal.

Most people reach out because they know something isn’t working—but they’re not sure what to do next.

That’s what the initial conversation is for.

Is this confidential?

Yes.

Discretion and confidentiality are a core part of this work.

What happens after the initial consultation?

We’ll talk through what’s happening, identify what’s needed, and determine the best way to move forward—whether that’s an intensive, ongoing support, or a more immediate intervention.

How do I know if this is the right fit?

If you’re in the middle of something that feels unclear, heavy, or difficult to navigate on your own, that’s usually the right time to reach out.

We’ll figure out the rest together.
